Add smooth parts to UI.Image

Hello everybody.

I am trying to get an effect like on the pic below:

So, as you see it is an image with smooth edges.

Current functionality is done with Canvas. We have a background image, mask with an image inside(the one that should be transparent). Im moving the parts of image inside the mask, but want to make left and right edges of this UI.Image smoothy like on the images.

Do you guys have any proposals?

Try downloading a program like gimp or inkscape. They are image editing programs, and you can make fuzzed out or blurred edges. For what you need, gimp is better.
