Help with using a box to destroy game objects

Please Guys, I needed some help with a project that I am working on. I can't figure tis out. If I have a box with four sides each with a different color(ei. black white, red, blue),and there are colored objects on the screen with the same colors . How would I get the objects to be destroyed when the face of the opposing color is shown on the box.

Please clarify your question:

What sort of box has 4 sides? Is this 2D?

What color is opposite of red? Do you mean all colors other than the one showing on the box are destroyed? Is it only when the objects touch the box?

Thanks!

The box is 2D with one color facing the main camera at a time, and the opposite of the red is blue. The objects don't touch the box, the box is like a street light every box (of the four colors mentioned) that isn't the opposite of the facing color is destroyed. Any help is appreciated.

how many objects are you dealing with at a time? if its few in number, keep an updated list of the colored object and search though it every frame. Those that are not colored correctly get destroyed.

If its large in number, you'll want to attach a trigger collider to each of the colored objects and one to the area affected by the "box". In the OnTriggerStay callback, check the color of the box and the color of the other object, destroy the ones that don't line up.
