How can i hide an object when the mouse left button was pressed?

I need to hide an object when i click with the left button, how can i do that?

you can simply achieve this by changing the material from the MeshRenderer component to a transparent one

 public Material transparent_material;//define from the inspector
 void Start () {
 
 }
 
 // Update is called once per frame
 void Update () {
     
 }

 void OnMouseDown(){//if mouse clicked on the object then change material
     GetComponent<MeshRenderer> ().material = transparent_material;

 }

I've this situation, what i should put on the red box, this aim is a camera, so, when i click on the fish, it will be hidden!alt text @SuperRaed

you just need to place a transparent material but keep in $$anonymous$$d you have to place the script on the fish itself or you will need a reference variable(GameObject) that points to the fish.

to create $$anonymous$$aterial try to change the shader to >legacy shaders>transparent>diffuse and then change the alpha channel to 0.
