Oculus DK2 motion sensor not working with new Unity 5.2.2 with Virtual Reality Supported enabled on Mac

I've upgraded to Unity 5.5.2f1 and am trying to get Oculus Dk2 to work. It's a nice new change that you don't need to bring in the old sterioscopic camera rig. But now the motion sensor for Oculus (the device that sits on your screen looking at you to refine your motion) does NOT turn on, in either play mode or compiled app.

I understand the new paradigm with Unity is to make virtual reality work for many devices with using one setting in the project. Great new feature.

What am I missing here? How do you get the sensor to fire up? It still works fine with apps I made with previous versions of Unity

I am also having this EXACT problem. I read here that it does not support 5.2 however I am not even getting the so called "orange light." The Oculus does not seem to become responsive with the unity project what so ever. The Oculus dev site says that they support 5.2
