FPS of up-to-date action game on mobile devices? 60 vs 30 FPS?

Hi,

My action game runs well at 60 FPS on iPhone 6. 30 FPS does not provide ideal smoothness. But 60 FPS heats up my iPhone a little bit. 30 FPS almost doesn't have heating issue. I have some questions about actual FPS of recent up-to-date action games on iOS/Android.

1) Do many recent action/arcade games run at 60 FPS by default? I know Mountain Goat runs at 60 FPS by default. It provides 30 FPS as an option. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mountain-goat-mountain/id979415701?mt=8 I think it is not made by Unity.

2) How to get actual FPS information of other people's mobile games? I mean any published game in iOS or Android store. Like popular games such as Subway Surfers, Temple Run 2, Monument Valley (not an action game), Vainglory (not a Unity game). Is there any FPS tool on iOS or Android like frags on PC (www.fraps.com)? With such a FPS tool, we can get real-time FPS information of any published mobile game.
