Accessing Avatar bones

Hey there everyone!

Im trying to get the length of my characters complete arm.

I know you can find the bone transforms, but that is quite hardcoded. You can also use Public Transforms and drag em in. But that is alot of extra work.

Avatars already have a reference to the correct bones(hips,shoulder,hand etc.) Is there any way to reach these by code?

Calculating arm length would be a breeze after this!

After some more searching i found: animator.GetBoneTransform(HumanBodyBones.Neck); from the following post : http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/access-a-bone-from-script-mecanim.295916/ That works like a charm :)
