For the Mac version of unity, it's installed here:

/Users/Shared/Unity/Island Demo

On Windows XP, it's here:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Unity Projects\Island Demo
or
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Unity Projects\Island Demo
(these two are aliases to the same location)

And on Vista / Windows 7, it should be here:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Unity Projects\Island Demo

If you've accidentally edited and saved changes to your copy, you can re-download it (along with many other example projects) from this page on the Unity web site:

http://unity3d.com/support/resources/example-projects/

You can find a Unity folder on the following paths on different systems:

Mac:

/Users/Shared/

Windows Vista & 7:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\

Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\

"Shared Documents" isn't there twice on XP for me, just once - although XP does seem confused about whether the folder is called "Shared Documents" or just "Documents" - it's different in the explorer address bar and search results, compared with the name by the folder icon!

If it's unity 3.3 it doesn't have the pre-loaded island demo.

But you can download thedemo on the unity website.

In Unity 3.3 on Windows Vista SP2 64-Bit mine was here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Unity Projects\Bootcamp Demo

I haven't gotten the example to run yet directly in the Unity Editor, it just shows a blue screen.

I tried downloading the copy from website and use that one but it says it's an older version and needs upgraded, after it upgrades the demo it won't run it just says error's must be fixed first before it can be run.
