Same Animator, different clips for different objects.

The title is enough explanatory. I found myself to animate different objects in a map(not scene). I've got different maps in one scene and I would like to manage the animations in these maps with one animator per map. So I created an animator for the first map, created some clips but in game the animator will execute only one clip just for one object, or one clip for every object with the animator as component. Is it possible to create different clips in one animator and animate different objects always with the same animator? Hope to have been as clear as possible
