how can I randomize the height of my 2D game object?

Hi Everyone! So I have a helicopter that is set to a scroll speed and tile size x so when I gets off screen it loops around again(to save me the time of illustrator thousands of enemy helicopters!). But it always is on the same y axis or to be clearer the height of my world which is really boring. Can someone tell me how to randomize the spawn height every time my enemy loops around? Thanks!

Here is my code in case you wish to view it as a guide: public float scrollSpeed; public float tileSizeX; private Vector3 startPosition;

 // Use this for initialization
 void Start () {

     startPosition = transform.position;

 }

 // Update is called once per frame
 void Update () {

     float newPosition = $$anonymous$$athf.Repeat(Time.time*scrollSpeed,tileSizeX);
     transform.position = startPosition + Vector3.left * newPosition;

 }
