Pile of leaves

I would like to create a pile of leaves in which a character can jump in. I tired putting a texture of a leave on a mash that looks like a pile but the texture gets all stretch and it looks terrible. Any advise on how to do this?

This question isnt related to Unity engine, what you are asking has to do with 3d design, what software are you using for making your environment? if you dont use any programs I highly recommend Blender 3d, what causes the texture to stretch is the model UV, so download blender and look up some " Unwraping" tutorials, the UV decides where the texture will be displayed on the model. Here is a picture of 2 quads models with has the exacpt same shape but with diffrent unwraps, as you can see the cube has the same lenghts on all sides with just makes it logical that the unwrap should be the same. if it isnt and you scale the UV on one side only it will try to repeat the texture on the quad, it woudnt stretch if it was a rectangual model though but in this example they both have the same lenghts on all their sides. http://puu.sh/mbZMA/6ce6c46beb.jpg
