[3D-5.3-C#] onMouseXXX for Colliders doesn t work

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to make clickable objects with the mouse in my project but I can't make it works.

Here what I checked:

  • The script inherits from MonoBehaviour, is attached to the gameObejct, is enable (Start and Update work), and all the onMouse methods have a simply Debu.Log

  • collider is attached to my gameObject, is enable

  • Physics.queriesHitTrigger is false

  • My main camera works, there is no other collider between it and the clickable gameObject and I try to put the camera very close.

  • I tried to restart Unity, restart my computer, make a new scene, make a new project, with a trackpad and a USB mouse, tried to build and check with the .exe (by using Application.quit), none work.

If you have any idea thanks for your help.

EDIT:

It worked by using Raycast

 void Update () {
         if (Input.GetMouseButtonDown(0))
         { // if left button pressed...
             Ray ray = GameObject.Find("Main Camera").GetComponent<Camera>().ScreenPointToRay(Input.mousePosition);
             RaycastHit hit;
             if (Physics.Raycast(ray, out hit))
             {
                 Debug.Log(hit.transform.gameObject.name);
                 // the object identified by hit.transform was clicked
                 // do whatever you want
             }
         }
     }

My problem solved but I cannot use onMouseXXX, I would like to found the problem.
