Convert Mecanim animations to legacy animations?

I need to convert all Mecanim animations in the project to legacy animations. Is there an efficient way to do this?

Why do you want to convert to legacy? Legacy means it is hanging on for only a period of time so if you have projects that use legacy animations they will be deprecated before long (not usable = not good).

Hold shift and select all of the items you want to change so they are highlighted. Then in the inspector go to the top right icon of a few horizontal lines. Click that and select "debug", and the option for changing to legacy appears. All of you selected items should become legacy and after that click the horizontal lines again and select "normal".

Hope this helped.

To select all animations, write "t:animation" in the project search bar.

To select all models (.fbx or .blend files), write "t:model" in the search bar. You can go to the rig tab and select Animation Type there (although if you have a lot of models, this will take VERY LONG to apply. Watch a movie or something.)

Thanks for telling me this, I didn't know you could do it that way as well.
