Question by alan111 · Mar 08, 2016 at 03:45 PM · 2d-platformerbug-perhaps

Blocks turning invisible.

So I have a script which spawns objects randomly for my infinite runner. It seems to be working just fine, but for some reason after it has spawned a few blocks they turn invisible. They are still there and I can still walk on them and everything but they just turn invisible. Here's the code:

 using UnityEngine;
 using System.Collections;

 public class SpawnScript : MonoBehaviour
 {

     public GameObject[] obj;
     public float spawnMin = 1f;
     public float spawnMax = 2f;

     // Use this for initialization
     void Start()
     {
         Spawn();
     }

     void Spawn()
     {
         Instantiate(obj[Random.Range(0, obj.GetLength(0))], transform.position, Quaternion.identity);
         Invoke("Spawn", Random.Range(spawnMin, spawnMax));
     }

 }

Is there something in the code that is wrong or is there something else causing this issue?

Another script is disabling the mesh renderer component?

I checked and the mesh renderer is still on and should be functional even for the invisible blocks. But it seems like putting a smaller value on the cameras Z axis helped a little bit, now I can see a few more blocks but there are still many invisible.
