adding textures to each of the R, G & B channels in an imported model that includes vertex color blending

Hi. I am an existing user of UDK, so I have not been able to grasp Unity's material editor, as UDK uses nodes. I would like to know how I could assign 3 different textures to each of the R,G, &B channels in a 3d model, which has been vertex color painted in Blender.

With UDK, this would be really simple using a lerp node, which includes 2 inputs for the 2 textures to be blended together and a 3rd input for the mix factor. However, since Unity uses shaders without a node editor UI, the best thing I have found in the Unity's manual was discussing about Vertex and Fragments shaders. However, in there examples, there is nothing showing example of let's say assigning a brick texture to R channel and assigning a stone texture in the G channel and so forth.

Can this be even done in Unity? I could really use the help, even if it was the proper link I would need to be reading on. Also please hold your comments of "Google is your friend or RTF Manual," cause I have been searching all day and cannot find one thing about it.
