2d character facing right/left problem

I have a Projectile attached to my Player. I am trying to change direction of my projectile but it seems I am forgetting something. I've tried declaring bools, if/else statements but it doesn't change direction. My clean script (without any attempt of changing direction) is:

   public float rocketSpeed;
   Rigidbody2D myRB;

 void Awake () {
         myRB = GetComponent <Rigidbody2D> ();
         myRB.AddForce (new Vector2 (1, 0) * rocketSpeed, ForceMode2D.Impulse);
     }

 public void removeForce ()
 {
     myRB.velocity = new Vector2 (0, 0);
 }

I'd really appreciate some help. I am getting desperate..

Can you show what you've tried so far?

I've cancelled all my attempts out of frustration. Anyway, I gave up on this and tried ScreentoWorldPoint back from the mouse position and it seems to work fine :)

Your projectile will change direction if the speed value is reversed, so just multiply it by -1.

I've tried something like that with some if/else statements but it seems to recognise one direction only. I''ve changed script and added other methods for now but I'll try your suggestion out of curiosity. Thank you! :)
