Terrain Trees seem to be 'exploded' in exported build

Hello,

I have a terrain with some terrain trees from the standard assests. When I build the game for standalone, the leaves seem to be spread out and building up as the camera approches the tree. See here: https://youtu.be/SzMjfPG8PLw

However, this only occurs in the build version with "Development Build" unchecked. When I check it, the issue is gone. When I play in the editor it does not occurs as well.

Both, terrain and terrain trees are generated and placed at runtime via script (trees are actually an asset and only placed as terrain trees at runtime). Don't know, if that matters.

Specs:

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

Unity 5.3.4f1 (64-bit)
