Question by KittyKarnage · Jul 12, 2016 at 08:15 AM · unity5mouse cursor

Always show the mouse

I always want the mouse cursor to be present. When I start my game I have to press ESC to get the mouse cursor to show and then when I click on the left mouse button the cursor disappears. I have tried adding scripts to make the cursor always present but it doesn't work.

@KittyKarnage IF YOU ARE USING FPS CONTROLLER FROM STANDARD ASSESTS , here is the Solution . Okay if you look at this script MouseLook.cs under StandardAssets/Characters/FirstPersonCharacters/Scripts/. Go to lines 83,88,89.

Make the following changes :

m_cursorIsLocked = true;(line 83) change to 'false'

Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.Locked; (line 88) change to 'none' Cursor.visible = false; (line 89) change to 'true' ,IF YOU ARE USING FPS CONTROLLER OF STANDARD ASSETS . .here is the solution .
