how can can input map in Unity3D like "Pokemon go"

I have very little Unity or any game making experience. I want to develop a game ,which can input "the real world" map(like google map) in Unity 3D and the map become the game scene.
So I find the Unity Asset store. There is a free plugin about "google maps for Unity link text" but I didn't know whether the "google maps for Unity " can be the game scene. And if it is possible, could you type some sample code of what I need to type to make this happen? Or I should use " google maps API link text"
