new project aren't set up right

Question

whenever i open a new project the skybox is solid blue without the horizon, the camera is set orthographic not perspective, and the directional light is gone. i tried re-downloading unity and it worked the first project i open the all the ones after are not default.

Select the 3D option when creating a new project.
