GameObjects not showing up

Question

GameObjects aren't showing up in the Scene viewport. I don't know what I've done please assist.

The day is April 6th, 2021... and I ran into this issue and found the simple solution thanks to a link to this question post. :D Turns out I did not have the layers set to default and that simple setting solved my issues. These questions and answers are awesome and good for a long time!
