High-to-low hard edge normal map baking not displaying in Unity

I'm trying to bake normal information from a high-poly chamfered-edge cube to a hard-edged low-poly cube and the normal map just won't display correctly in Unity. It displays fine in Unreal, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, and Marmoset 2, but not Unity.

I've tried various fixes (too many to list here) but nothing seems to work, so I was hoping someone could give me some indication as to where I'm going wrong: I don't know if it's something to do with my export options in 3DS Max, my baking options in SD/xNormal, or my import options in Unity (or some combination of the three). Would love to hear from anyone who has successfully achieved this so we can compare workflows!
