Roll a Ball... How apply the script "PlayerController" to the Object Player??

I am beginner with unity. In the tutotial "Roll a Ball" there is a script that has to apply to the Object Player but when I did it, the component become grey color and the ball no roll and there isn´t error in the console.

Someone can help me? Please
