Question by Giusort · Oct 13, 2016 at 08:57 AM · sqlitetxttext file

SQLite, quotation marks and GPX files

Hi!

I'm trying to write a text content of a GPX file into a SQLite table field. I donwload the file with

 IEnumerator DownLoadGPXFile(string GPXFileName) {
         WWW w = new WWW(GPXFileName);
         yield return w.text;
 }

and the content of the GPX file downloaded is ok, but when I try to update SQLite DB with INSERT INTO whit this GPX text I get, obviously, an error because of quotation marks in GPX file.

Someone could help me?

Many thanks!

Gius

I don't know the interface you're using to access SQLite, but usually there a "escapeString" method or similar that changes the string so it can be put into the database.

Thank you DoubleMax, I'm writing the query directly by code in MonoDevelop;

 System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex.Unescape(stringToUnescape)

doesn't solve the problem...
