EasyMovieTexture Memory & CPU Usage

Question

Hi - anyone using EasyMovieTexture for unity 5 having huge memory and cpu problems for large file size mp4 files?

I have some 1080p resolution files that are about 300mb playing in Unity using EasyMovieTexture and it blows out my memory usage to 2gb and 50% cpu usage.

it appears to be coming from the Update() part of MediaPlayerCtrl.cs

Can anyone help with this issue?

I have been in contact with the developer and he has provided some updates for me - hopefully this will be included in the next release.
