SteamVR logging tool development

I developed an unity program to log the postions, rotations & velocites of the vive HMD and controllers. It works as expected and provides me with data, I can use for user analysis.

However, I can't open two vr applications simultaneously which means I can't run my logging program while running tilt brush for example. I would like to develop this tool further to allow me to log the HMD & controller data while playing a game.

Any ideas/information on how to go about doing this?
