Can the U3D Physics satisfy this demand?

I want to simulate an environment to the force analysis of a rigid body when the falling rigid body is touching the floor or colliding some other things. Is U3D able to this? Could you guys please shortly introduce the function or script? Thanks a lot!

It isn't really clear what you're asking. The physics API should give you a good idea of what the engine exposes to you. Read it over and consider clarifying your question?

I mean that, when two objects collide, can U3D return the stress distribution of the colliding face of the corresponding object? Is that clearer? Thank you so much!

If I understand the question, then no, afaik there's no simple way to grab that information. Unless I'm badly mistaken, that degree of "real" complexity is not expressed by the physics engine in any way. Far from it: Being designed for real-time applications, it's as simple as humanly possible.

However, there's nothing stopping you from rolling your own implementation of more advanced physics calculations as needed. Bearing in $$anonymous$$d that the data you get will never be what an engineer would call valuable / trustworthy. It's optimized for video games, and not industrial applications. So depending on your needs, and with a modest familiarity with the engine and its quirks, you might be able to code what you need. Assu$$anonymous$$g you can decipher the Chinese calligraphy that passes for equations on wikipedia!
