NullReference Exception Error - makes no Sense at all!

Hi, so I am currently working on a Poker Game, and I scripted and tested and it worked. So I stopped Unity restarted and ever since then it doesnt work anymore. (Which is really weird and could only mean that I must have not saved properly and there would be some mistake somewhere).. i checked and checked but I really dont see what my problem is.

I try to explain as best as possible... I have empty gameobject, that have spriterenderers and a script attached to them. Those gameobjects are supposed to be the card positions on the table. Here is what there scripts look like:

 using UnityEngine;

 public class TableCardA : MonoBehaviour
 {
     public static TableCardA TCA;
     SpriteRenderer spriterenderer;

     void Start()
     {
         TCA = this;
         spriterenderer = GetComponent<SpriteRenderer>();
     }

     public void ShowCard(Sprite face)
     {
         spriterenderer.sprite = face;
     }
 }

Now I have an empty gameobject that carries my game script. In that script i am intializing the cards, deal them and evaluate them. I dont want to make this really long so I shorten the code a bit:

  Debug.Log("Cards in deck:" + cardDeck.Count);
     }

     void ShuffleCards()
     {
         System.Random rand = new System.Random();
         int r = cardDeck.Count;
         while (r > 1)
         {
             r--;
             int n = rand.Next(r + 1);
             Card temp = cardDeck[n];
             cardDeck[n] = cardDeck[r];
             cardDeck[r] = temp;
         }
     }

     private void DealCards()
     {
         PlayerCardA.PCA.ShowCard(cardDeck[0].cardFace);
         playerHand.Add(cardDeck[0]);
