iOS develompent questions

  1. I’m writing program to be deployed on iOS, but I don’t have actual iphone/ipad and I’m not registered Apple developer. So the question is can some other person (who has a device and is registered developer but do not own unity3d) upload my compiled for iOS platform project and test it?
  2. To remove splash screen on iOS do I need pro versions of both unity3d and iOS addon? Or just unity3d pro is enough for that?
  1. Yes, but that’s not really a very good solution. You should own a device and test on it regularly if you’re going to develop for iOS and want to be sure you’re making something that works well. It only costs $300 or so ($99 for Apple and $200 for a 8GB iPod touch).
  2. You need both Pro licenses.
