A material is using the texture as a normal map. The texture must be marked as a normal map in the import settings.

I created a character in Fuse, exported as FBX for Unity, and on import I get the following message:

"A material is using the texture as a normal map. The texture must be marked as a normal map in the import settings."

The character's eyeballs are showing through her hat, tears in various parts of the skin, etc. How do I fix this? Thanks.

It seems that when I change the shader it fixes the problem. I don't know if I'm doing it right but if I go to a particular material and change it to mobile bumped diffuse then it makes the character look normal. Is this the correct way to fix it? Is there a better shader to use? Thanks.
