How to made VsCode default editor on Ubuntu?

If i go to preferences -> external script editor, only MonoDevelop is shown in options. However, I can click Browse - can i add VSCode this way? If not - how to do it? I am running ubuntu 17 and latest Unity version for linux - 2017.1.0xb8.

@TheSmokingGnu Yes, you can do it by click Browse - and select the code application. https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/other/unity

Just came across this page when Googling for an answer to this exact question. I found the executable for Code in /usr/share/code/bin and when I try to open script files or go to Assets -> Open C# Project, it opens the requested file in Code. It doesn't skip to specific line numbers when double-clicking a message in the Console window, though.
