Easy way of using Android's natives gallery / sound library?

Hello,

I am developing an application for Android which needs to be able to access files from the user's photo / video gallery and music library during runtime. The user should be able to browse their files in order to pick the ones that they want to import.

The importing part functions correctly, but I need a way of actually getting the files' paths.

Can you guide me on this? I saw some people talking about developing a native plugin, but I honestly have no idea how.
