2D Smooth Camera Follow Jittering Sprites

So I was trying to make a simple following camera script for 2D.

It was just that kind of casual simple transform.position = target.position bla bla bla. But it's too strict right, the camera moves exactly at the same time as the target, locks right into it. So I tried to put some lerp or damp on it, it worked fine actually, the character (target) was moving smooth, the camera was lerping smooth, but for god sake the world (any sprites that's not the target) were jittering/flickering/stuttering/shaking as the camera's moving, and they'll back to normal when the camera stands still. It seemed only happen when the camera is currently lerping to the target's position. Any ideas?

*I've tried to put the code in FixedUpdate, Update, LateUpdate. No differences noticeable;
