Toon Outline That Gets Affected By Light

Hi! I’m having a lot of trouble with this issue for a while now. I spent a couple of days on this already and decided to concentrate on something else for a while, but now I really have to face it. And I need help.

I’ve been using the Edge Detection Script and then tried out Toon Shaders to have an “outline”-ish look on my game objects. But a problem that I’m facing right now is that the edges are still bright even though the light is completely turned off. Looking forward to making a horror game, so I’d really love it if the objects can’t be seen when the lights are out(and only show those lit by the flashlight. I’ve put quite a bit of time in trying to make the toon shader outline affected by light, but I just couldn’t get it to work.

Here’s what it looks like:

And here’s how I want it to look like(assuming that the ellipse over there is a flashlight):

Thanks in advance! If there are resources that I missed, please do point them out to me. I searched everywhere!

bump; Can anyone help me?
