Question by djarneau · Sep 19, 2017 at 10:20 PM · scriptableobjectdynamicscenesdropdown

Create a scene with the information selected in the main menu

I am making a virtual museum in virtual reality, for that I have created a main menu and a "settings" menu.

With this settings menu, I can select the category like Artist, Tittle, Color etc and a submit button. When the users have selected something, for exemple "Renoir", I want a scene or room with all of this painting. Indeed, the best will be a room with a painting in all wall. I don't I know if its possible to generate dynamically a scene like that.

The informations about artist etc will be stocked in a database.

Sorry for my bad English, Thanks

Good day @djarneau !

You need to build all the scenes that will be included in your projects in order to run the game, this means, you have 2 options, or create a scene for all options (i dont recommend you)

Or what i recommend you can do is to create one multipurpose scene with empty walls and Instantiate The paints, decorations, and all you want, depending on the options selected by the player.

If helped mark the answer as good :D

Bye!
