Few questions relatedto brick breaker game

Hi all, I am trying to do a "brick breaker" game, I just started, and I have few issues :

1) I would like the ball to move to the right when it $$anonymous$$ts the right half side of the surface of the paddle, and to left when it $$anonymous$$ts the left part of the paddle. As now, the ball moves depending on how it was moving (if it comes from left and $$anonymous$$ts the paddle in any part, it will bounch again to left, w$$anonymous$$ch is totally normal, but how do I set it to bounch based on the part of the paddle collision it $$anonymous$$ts?).

2) When the ball $$anonymous$$ts the paddle in the right and left "corners", the ball becomes very fast, why?

3) Sometime, the ball goes so fast it goes off screen or doesn't consider the collision of the paddle, why it does that if I've put all the collisions properly with a $$anonymous$$gh mass?

Sorry, the questions may sound very noob, but I am just starting to practice with Unity. Thank you a lot in advance.
