Can't destroy my bullet

Here is the code for my bullet, I want for it to destroy itself on collision with anything except the player:

 void OnTriggerEnter2D (Collider2D other){
     if (other.tag != "Player") {
         Destroy (gameObject);
     }
 }

It does not work, no errors but nothing gets destroyed.

hi, is your collider2D compoment is a trigger ? there is a checkBox in the compoment need to be true !
