I can't change the main camera background color

Question

This is actually frustrating. I have been changing the main camera background color to black every now and then but I can't make heads or tails of changing it.

I'm really frustrated right now. PLease, any help for this guy.

Are you sure the alpha value of the color is set to 1 ? And make sure the "Clear Flag" is set to "Color", and not to "Skybox"
