How do reload a video from URL at runtime

For the Unity video player I have a script to load a video at runtime and loop. I'm accessing mp4 clips from webcams w$$anonymous$$ch upload a new clip to a web server every 5-10 minutes. The new clips for each camera have the same filename and location as the clip they replace. The problem is that the Unity video player doesn't seem to allow me to reload the video. It just keeps playing the first clip i load.

I've tried reassigning the URL at set periods to trigger the reloading. I've also tried deactivating and reactivating the video player but t$$anonymous$$s hasn't worked for me so far. Destroying the videoplayer and recreating it doesn't seem ideal. Is there a better method to get the video to update from a URL at at runtime?
