Looking for a workflow for facial animation and lip sync

We are looking for a workflow for facial animation and lip sync. That also means we need a definition of how the source material has to look like. There are many programs to produce the source material. I looked at live2D for example. While I love the program and will probably use it for the game in general, it also produces that define how the textures are "flowing". This again limits the the possible target applications a lot. That is why we ask for a workflow. If it is necessary I will use a different program for the source files.

The source textures will probably be made in Photoshop. But also here I stay flexible. But I really hope I can stick to Photoshop here.

What we need is how we would create a dialogue scene. Generally that would need how to form the phonemes etc (if possible automatically applied and manually correctable for perfection) and the facial animation on top on a timeline or something. However, also the phonemes can be made by different techs. There are tons of programs around that do what we want in parts and their output files are varying a lot. So what we want to have is a workflow that covers all, facial animation and lip-sync to a dialogue scene.

In other words you can use any source and show us how to create a dialogue scene and import it to Unity3D. You don't need to present us a perfect scene if you are a programmer, if you use the cheapest freebie around, like the freebie mouth in Papagayo, we are fine, to make the assets shine I am here, I am the artist. But I am stomped atm what I have to produce and how I make a dialogue scene.
