Move, teleport, move again! (one frame)

Hello everyone! So I have one cube in my scene and one game object called end destination.

I want this cube to have sort of gliding effect towards any obstacle.

This cube needs to move towards end destination in one frame then teleport back to its starting position and move again creating this kind of effect because of the collision.

I tried using lerp(in combination with moveposition) but whenever I try to teleport back to the starting position ingame it just looks like it's staying in its starting position which is not desired effect.

this cube would be used as a 3d crosshair, similar to what you can see in mcgee's alice.

Any suggestion how can I achieve this? mmake it work?
