So I am working on crop planting in my game, but I can’t just have 100 crops all within one unit of each other, and even if I was able to set a distance between crops, it would look pretty messy I bet. So I’ve decided that I want crops to only be allowed to be planted if the suggested coordinates are prime numbers, so something like (SuggestedPlantingSpot = new Vector3 (72, 0, 516)). The problem is that I have no clue how to check if a number is prime, so if some knows a simple way to check, that would be great.
very simple and naive algorithm on checking whether a number is prime could be:
