Import MovieTexture

Question

English: I imported a Movie Texture but Unity Editor said, "Error reading encoded Movie (buggy encoder?)".The file is what my QuickTime installation can play.So, how should I make a correct Movie Texture? Sorry, I'm not good at English because I'm Chinese.

中文：我导入了一个Movie Texture但是Unity编辑器说“电影编码错误（坏编码？）”这个文件我可以用我的QuickTime 播放。那么，我如何才能创建一个正确的Movie Texture？对不起，我不太会说英文，我是中国人。

Try converting to AVI, uncompressed if necessary. Those always import.

Find a video that you CAN import and compare their settings and see where there's a difference. I've had that problem, the audio quality was the problem if I remember correctly.

A solution is to "Update" QuickTime to a new version. Follow this steps If you are in Windows:

Close Unity
Go to the link provided by the Unity Manual/class-MovieTexture.html: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Download QuickTime (run antivirus scan)
Uninstall QuickTime
Install the new version as administrator
Open Unity. if works then:
Restart Windows 7 10 for 2 times to set the changes
If do not work open Unity as administrator
