Help with improving my Accelelometer.

Hi everyone,

In my game character is moving using Accelelometer but only on x axis. Everything is working fine but i have couple troubles. First of all i want to make script like in Doodle Jump. In Doodle Jump when you're shaking you're phone character is not moving in my game it is and I don't have any idea how to make it better. Second think when I shared my game to friend's phone I noticed that on every device sensitivity of Accelerometer was diffrent, for example on Sony my character wasn't even moving. Is there any possibilty to make this script better? I mean on every device it will work in the same way.
