Using Unity Behind proxy

Hello!

We are working in big company and we are be$$anonymous$$nd proxy. We cannot disable it but we can add rules for specific ip addresses and protocols.

Can somebody give me a list with all ip addresses for Unity and Unity services like UCB, Analytics, Package Manager? I tried new beta 2018 and I cannot open project with shader system because Unity cannot download packages from com.unity.*.

I finally was able to do it!

I have to setup few variables:

  • HTTP_PROXY = http://username:password@proxy.domain.com:port

  • HTTPS_PROXY = http://username:password@proxy.domain.com:port

  • NO_PROXY= localhost,.domain.com,127.0.0.1

  • UNITY_NOPROXY= localhost,.domain.com,127.0.0.1

Right now Package Manager and Unity hub is working!

Since this is one of the first questions that popup on google when looking for Unity and proxies, adding this quick code snippet to help out:

If you want your game or your editor to use the proxy at runtime, you can use the following C# code before any http calls happen

         Environment.SetEnvironmentVariable("http_proxy", "my_proxy_adr:my_port");
         Environment.SetEnvironmentVariable("https_proxy", "my_proxy_adr:my_port");
