Flip sprite with normal map on it

Hey guys, I just created a 2d normal map for my character for the 2d light effect. It works fine when the sprite is in the default direction. However, when i was trying to flip the sprite, it disappears. I guess the reason is that the normal is not flipped when the sprite is. Is there any way to fix the issue? Thanks.,Hey guys, I just created a normal map for my character for the 2d lighting effect. But the issue I have is that, when I was trying to flip my character(the sprite) by set the transform.position.z*-1, the sprite disappear. I guess it is because that the normal map cannot be flipped while the sprite is flipped. Is there any way to fix it? Thanks.

You could create a second, mirrored normal map and use that when the sprite is flipped.
