Blending Textures based on Surroundings

I have a few meshes. A few is an understatement, because I have a huge amount of meshes being used in the game. These meshes have properly been UVed and made from Blender. They are low poly and don't impact performance on my machine.

Now, onto the issue. These meshes are ordered in 2 layers of block by block positions. So most of them are the same mesh. But some of them have different materials. It looks kinda janky and not very cool when you have a map go straight from some sort of material straight to another. So my question is: Is it possible to make a shader to blend the materials together based on surroundings? Not for terrain, but for normal Game Objects and meshes? I am not using Terrain in my project.

If so, how would I go about doing this?

I need to also have different top and side textures as well, which would greatly help me, as the previous shaders my meshes used did exactly that.
