Enemy AI assistance.

Hello I am working on a simple RPG and I need some help with a basic AI. The code that I have here for some reason is causing my test object, a box with two circles for eyes so I know which way its facing, to move away from my player and not face him. The code is attached to the box object and the sphere are attached to the box as a child.
