Moving player smoothly along the x axis with the swipe on any position on touch screen

Question

I am having a sphere as a player and want it to move along x axis smoothly with the swipe on touch screen irrespective of the position of but follow the direction and speed of the swipe and don't show the jerk or shaking behavior.

I had tried the lerp and translate along with OnMouseDrag function but nothing works smoothly
