Creating Multiple Versions of a Hero, How best?

I've been working on my game for a while.

Most of it works, well, and it's all scripts and objects, prefabs, etc.

Now I'd like to make variations of the main character, with different attributes.

Differing:

  • visuals

  • animations

  • sounds

  • weightings

  • jumping

  • scoring -

My hero is currently a single entity with several child objects, and a few scripts attached, that's made into a singleton at game start.

But all that can change, I'm open to simply find the best way to iterate and make more types of heroes, in the easiest and best way possible.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this, mostly, conceptual question.
