Scaling a specific part of a mesh?

I have a box with a cube inside, and I want to scale the box keeping the cube the same size, without making them different game objects. Is there some sort of method for this?

add a blank script to it and it will break prefab instance, then you can modify each piece. (assuming all parts are separate.)

Thanks, but I need all parts together. The volume must be constant, so when I reduce the x axis the y increases. Because of this, separete gameObjects start to levitate. Also, I need that the ground below the cube, which is in fact a building, stays the same size to be physically accurate, because scaling the ground without the building would be weird.
